Achieving the finest quality Manuka honey starts with the placement of our hives. Placing hives off the ‘beaten track’ far away from the polluting effects of human habitation
allows the honey bees to source nectar from manuka flowers untainted by environmental toxins.
All our honey is processed in a New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries approved packhouse under stringent hygiene conditions. The honey is tested for a combination of 5
attributes (4 chemicals from nectar and 1 DNA marker from Manuka pollen). This separates the Manuka honey from other honey types and allows us to classify it as either monofloral or multifloral Manuka honey.
